An artist is an explorer! -Henri Matisse
One of Isabelle Picard’s amazing talents is to create decorative art with furniture. She loves to repurpose old pieces and give them new life. A piece of furniture can become a fantasic piece of functional art, and a real conversation piece. Many of her clients desire a makeover of something old and boring, to transform it into a new thing that’s fun and alive. Isabelle also faux paints furniture, with a white wash, and distressed look, among other textures and effects. Think how you might re-use the ordinary objects you already have to make them extraordinary!!! Some new projects will be available to be seen on her Facebook page (link to that here). Give this some thought. What might this very capable artist do for you and for your home or business?
A fertile imagination is a very wonderful gift for an artist. Besides such a gift, experience and application is Isabelle’s ticket for success. Send Isabelle a photo of your potential new art piece, as it looks now, and let Isabelle reflect on what she’d like to see done with it. She’s willing to take your suggestions and hear your ideas, sometimes it might be best to just turn her loose and reap the benefits of her creativity!
A Koi Pond, trompe l'oeil on a dark, weathered, wood table. A custom headboard for your sweet island dreams! Adding a faux finish plus art details on a boring brown amoire. Turning an old cabinet into a great piece with a Caribbean view! Distressed white on a dark brown desk and accent piece. A faux wood desk are at a doctor's office. A perfect white wash on a raw Home Depot table. A faux finish and Moko Jumbie art on a formerly white, half moon credenza.
